James Meinert DDS adheres to the American Dental Association's recommendation that all people with good oral health visit the dentist for a check-up and professional dental cleaning every six months. In some cases, more frequent check-ups and cleanings are necessary. We will schedule your next visit before you leave your appointment so you'll know exactly when to come see us again. 

If you experience trauma to your mouth that results in breaking, loosening, or losing a tooth, call us! Bleeding lesions in the mouth are also a concern. If you get an acute toothache, we'll do our best to see you immediately. We are available by phone 24/7 for emergency dental care. However, if you cannot reach us, please go to the nearest emergency room for prompt treatment.

Cosmetic dentistry is not a specialty recognized by the American Dental Association, so any general dentist can claim to be a cosmetic dentist. To choose a good cosmetic dentist, review the doctor's before-and-after photos of actual cases, ask about his or her postgraduate education in cosmetic dentistry, and make sure that you feel confident and comfortable in the office.
